  The Fall River District Court is nothing but a Kangaroo Court! The DA gives the Discovery Package, over 300 pages, less than a month prior to the trial. Law says it is to be given WITHIN ONE MONTH after charges are filed! The police commit perjury on the stand, and no one does a thing about it. This perjury is recognized and testified about, still, it's ignored by the judge, (Finnerty), and the jury. The D.A. LIES to the jury during his final summation, stating things that were NEVER presented as evidence, and things that were completely DISPUTED during the trial as "truths," yet, the judge, (Finnerty), allowed it to go on! The judge gave the jury 1/2 hour after 2 full days of legal, medical and social testimonty to come up with a verdict. When they asked for another 15 minutes -- and someone's LIBERTY was at stake -- he GAVE IT TO THEM!!! FOURTY FIVE MINUTES TIME TO DETERMINE IF SOMEONE WAS GOING TO JAIL after 2 full days of testimony!!! Would Finnerty want that for himself??? Or his mother, his daughter? On top of that, Finnerty couldn't be in court the following day, so, the jury would have had to go home on a Thursday and come back for a Friday to finish deliberating. WHAT person in their right mind would want to do that? Of course they wanted it over! They wanted 15 minutes! You can almost hear them pressuring people in the jury room to find the defendant guilty! And Finnerty gave them the means to do so! He needs to be pulled OFF THE BENCH!!! The FR DISTRICT COURT is NOTHING but a KANGAROO COURT!!!!! Shut it DOWN! They have NO idea what JUSTICE IS!!! And Finnerty does NOT follow the checks and balances of the Constitution in their sentences, either! When the Legislature authorizes ONE YEAR loss of license for a first time offence, where the HELL does HE get off giving 1 1/2 years!!! He literally is breaking the law himself! Put him in the crapy jail he sends people to, so he knows WHAT he's doing to others! He clearly needs to know how he's harming others with his heavy fisted hammer, (We cannot call it justice!). Productive citizens become disabled as a result of their stay at that horrific place Hodgkins runs in New Bedford. A kangaroo court led by the kangaroo itself! Shut it DOWN!
